Concerned citizens of Oyo recently converged on the Durbar Stadium, Oyo State to appraise economic and social viability of the town at an event tagged: ‘Amoriwu Fun Omo Oyo’, an initiative of a group – Reset Oyo Movement, sponsored by an America-based industrialist, Anthony Ibukunoluwa Ashamu.
The group, in a bid to chart a roadmap to alleviate untold hardship of the masses and arrest poverty in the state, vowed to transform the economic and social life of the citizens taking special cognisance of the individual talent to tap into latent will to become prosperous citizens.
Among the keynote speakers on the occasion were eminent citizens, Archbishop Ayo Ladigbolu (retd.), Chief Missioner, Alquareeb Mission of Nigeria, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oladele,  Mr. Ishola Babatunde, Mojisola Adeyemi, Mrs Olawale Adebola, Christian Association of Nigeria, Awe chapter chairman, Evangelist Babajide Folarin, Ven. Joshua Ademola Ogundara as well as a youth leader, Timi Olagunju among others.
Ashamu appealed to the elite in the state to look out for the less fortunate ones in the society and show compassion in tandem with God’s admonition to be each other’s keepers.
